Pam’s Story
“It’s been a big part of the change in my life and in my confidence.”

When Pam came to Mint for More, she was in recovery and afraid to talk or smile. She couldn’t chew — everything had to be soft — and she wasn’t getting the nutrition her body needed.
She tells one detail that says everything: unable to eat real protein, she’d been buying about $100 of candy a week, thinking it could fill the gap. Once she could chew again, she learned what her body had been missing and switched to real food. “Now I’m not hungry anymore.”
Addiction had already cost her a denture once; in treatment, our partner Pearl helped her replace the upper one. This time, Mint for More removed her remaining lower teeth and made her a lower denture — something she never even knew was possible for her. “I never knew I could have a bottom denture,” she says. “This is going to change everything.”
Today she can chew her food, eat a salad, and smile big — and she’s moving from the back of the kitchen to the front counter, ready to greet the customers she once avoided.
What changed

“You give a life-changing experience. You help a person’s confidence and help them get back in the world.”
