Started in 2016 and powered by the team at Mint Dental Care, Mint for More grew from a quiet act of compassion into a structured nonprofit serving Northwest Arkansas.
“When we opened Mint Dental Care in 2016, we started setting aside time to treat neighbors who were in pain and had nowhere to go. No application form. No income requirement. Just a dental team saying — we have time on the schedule. Let’s use it.”

How we got here
Mint Dental Care Opens
Dr. McCord opens Mint Dental Care in Centerton, AR. The team immediately begins informally treating neighbors in need.
Mint for More Is Born
The team set a goal of $750,000 in donated dentistry by 2028. They surpassed that goal years ahead of schedule — reaching $3.5 million and counting.
Partner Network Expands
Amidst the chaos of COVID-19, community organizations across NWA begin referring patients, as other clinics were closed and recovering from the pandemic. The network grows to 20+ partners — recovery programs, shelters, schools, veterans services.
501(c)(3) Status Granted
Mint for More becomes a formal nonprofit (EIN: 88-4132527), opening the door to grants, corporate sponsorships, and tax-deductible giving.
$1,000,000 Donated in a Single Year
In 2025 alone, Mint for More provided over $1,000,000 in free dental care — a new annual record, bringing our all-time total past $3.5 million.
Building Toward a Dedicated Clinic
We’re working toward a $750,000 standalone Mint for More clinic — a permanent home and a model other communities can replicate.
Guatemala Mission Trip
Every summer since 2018, a team from Mint Dental Care has partnered with Dustin’s Dream to travel to Guatemala and provide dental care in communities with little to no access to a dentist. The only year we missed was 2020, due to COVID-19.
These trips are a core part of who we are. Our team members volunteer their time, travel on their own, and spend a week providing the same kind of care we deliver at home — extractions, cleanings, treatment — in communities where the need is even greater.
